This is where the problem is. That wheel shouldn't be behind the stopper plate.

Ok so I’m just going to use a flathead screwdriver and push it out from behind the stopper plate?

and maybe if that fixes it take it back apart and put some loctite on the bolt cause if it loosened once it will probably do it again.

I tried pushing it out with the screwdriver but no luck. :/ I already got the shifting lever out though. I need to get a lock not remover and a gear holder so I can take the clutch off to get to it easier.

check the stopper plate bolt after you get it out it may be bent.

& a video of the stopper plate shifting into 1st and second. Should it be able to go all the way around counter clockwise or is it fine stopping where it does in the video? Sorry it’s kind of hard to tell in the video. And when I put it all back together do I want it to be done in Nuetral?

im not sure but i dont think it matters. that pin will register with the hole in the stop plate. looks to me like your problem was just the stop plate being loose and the little wheel that rides on the outside of it got behind it and finally jammed.

Looking at the pictures all the parts look fine. It's really hard to tell from the video. But look like you got full rotation. You should be able to rotate it about 340-350*. Have you tried reinstalling all the parts and trying going through all the gears? If your getting full rotation of the stopper plate and it doesn't go through all the gears after that then it could possibly be a bent or broke shift fork. That would require to remove the engine and splitting block. When you drained the oil, was there any metal in the oil or oil screen? Before I would do that I would try putting it back together and see if it will shift through the gears. The pictures and videos do help.

Does it matter if I put it back together in nuetral or 1st? Is it a just a matter of what’s easiest?

Did you have your buddy rotate the rear wheel while you turned the shifting drum? The shifting forks operate in slots on the outside of the shifting drum, inside the transmission. I'd try that before I put it all back together...ARH
