You're welcome Jerry. I searched for a long time before I finally settled on this one. I too had thought about getting a tank bag but they just seem too bulky for what I needed. I think this bag is gonna be perfect.

Sir kay...drop us the link to that bag, then drop it on the link referal at the bottom of the page (keep the lights on)

I would first thing get a little cheapie combination lock for that zipper such as the one I have. To slow down curious hands.

Hehe

That Zombie theme is great. Recently my company moved my dept from a beautiful, affluent , safe town in ct to the armpit of Hartford. My plan with my Hawk is is to hang it off my truck and when the inevitable of a officer involved shooting happens I can escape the "Zombie Apocolypse" on my hawk. I already planned the route via some old railroad tracks that go 20 miles south right next to my house.

Hence my coworkers refer to my hawk as the Zombie Escape Vehicle or ZEV. http://www.chinariders.net/images/icons/gay_gif.gif

The latest mod is now complete... the new digital cluster instrument gauge. Installed in less than an hour and what an improvement over stock. If you haven't done this upgrade I highly recommend it.

I agree with you this is a must do upgrade. Did you recalibrate the tire size? The default is set to 21 which is about 1% off on mph. Set it to 19 and it will be dead on. It's not in the instruction but Matt has it on his video on how to do it. Pull the fuse for the speedo, hold the button down then turn the key on and hold for about 5 seconds. 21 should come up on the screen. push the button till it goes to 19. When it stops flashing turn off the key. repeat the process of holding the button and turning on key to verify it saved it as 19. Turn off key and put back the fuse. Now it will be exact.

So you need to change it to 19 even though it has a 21 front rim?
I may need to do this to Mrs 2LZ TT250 also.

Yep, I didn't Know until I watch Matts video. Some sort of built in safety factor mumbo jumbo that most manufacturers do. The original hawk cluster had about a 15-20% safety factor lol. I checked it with my GPS just to make sure and was about 1mph off but now it is correct.

I can't wait for manufactures to figure out... it's not safe for anyone going 10 to 15% slower then the traffic around you... everyone has their head so far up their phonanus they can't see a slower moving vehicle approaching, motorcycle or car...

I'm one of those people that need to read accurate info coming from these type of things... speed limit says 80... I want to be going 80... going 68 in a posted 80 is asking for someone to run your ace over

I never thought it was a "safety issue". I just figured they didn't give a crap. Just toss on the speedo from the parts supplier. It has to be close enough.
