I'd love to build one (and I have quite a bit of raw material already), but it will have to wait awhile. Until then, I'll steal your experience.

Found a set of bar end mirrors in my junk box and put them on today.
I think I like the ones that I have on my Q better but will run these for a while to see how they work out.

I just bought the same exact ones for my "Q" thats toom funny.....Haven't put them on yet though. I was hoping I maybe be able to mount them directly on the bars but I do NOT think they will open up enough to do it that way. Hmmmmm Will have to check into this week.

Andrew :?:

Andrew,
If they are the same as mine then there is no way that they will fit over the bars, Besides they would be so inboard that all you would see would be your body.

Warning on the DF250RTB

Warning:
The state of New Jersey refused to register this bike for some unknown reason and the seller is taking the bike back and refunding the purchase price.

The bike is is the database of EPA/DOT approved bikes. Weird.

The DMV/DOL has a very narrow window of thinking ability :? . Not unlike a chimpanzee with a lock, they can figure somethings out but are unable to work outside of what they do everyday. Sometimes going to a different DMV/DOL will work...

Welcome!

That is a shame. Like Doc said, is there a chance that a more sympathetic DMV could be the answer?

I just don't understand how a bike can be registered in one state and not another although I have heard this has happened in the past.
This is the United States of America, right?
It does meets federal standards.

As much as I think that Arizona is backwards in pretty much all areas of socio-economic ways of life, we can still get most anything with a minimum of street equipment street registered.

I now understand why the anal retentive US states are difficult to register even bikes that are on the DOT list if the company does not renew the paperwork that is required :? I don't agree with it or like it for those living under those conditions, but I understand...
