I like that flanged SAE battery connector. I see no reason why a battery maintainer couldn't be plugged in at that point over the winter.

Although it is rated high enough to handle the load of my heated jacket, the voltage cutoff circuit I was using finally failed.

Therefore, I switched to a different, voltage cutoff circuit which is rated for 6 amps.

Do you have any pics of the installation of the new voltage cutoff circuit?

This afternoon I took a photograph for you.

The protection circuit module is located inside the red boundary. After soldering the appropriate connectors on both ends, I protected the printed circuit board (PCB) with several layers of shrink tubing.

The new circuit is very robust, and it has been working well for about 6 months.

This circuit is definitely superior to the circuit I tried initially.
