The site owner/manager of Hawk250.com saw my video and went ballistic. He put me on his page ( https://hawk250.com/youtuber-oddball...ack-on-a-hawk/ ), and then I got a bunch more views on my video, and then all of a sudden I am like $250 shy of the target...

Holy hell.

I am stunned. Y'all are going to make me cry even more at this rate.

In all seriousness though. I need to find a way to make this up to everybody. Maybe once I can get a Hawk in my garage I will do a series of videos on some of the basic maintenance stuff while I am doing the assembly. Or find a way to document my assembly process kind of like Cravin did.

This community made it happen, so it should serve the community. It's every bodies bike as far as I am concerned.

Do a series of videos. 1st one can be the proper way to assemble the Hawk as is in stock form. Then do videos on each mod. as you get them. Especially on how to tune the carbs.

Dan ,it sounds like you need to use your welder to weld some good metal onto your Jeep ,and I must of missed something but what is wrong with that other bike you just bought ? Crap steering in the Jeep is very dangerous ,and imagine what would happen if you got the death wobble going too .

I was thinking last night (I know, it’s the “Danger Zone”), since I have a vested interest in MegaDan’s happiness, what would make the rest of us happy? Videos! Lots and lots of videos! We want to see stuff being done to the new BLUE Hawk!

After the Hawk is completed (does that ever happen?), we want to see videos of you riding around your part of America! And we want a guided tour! Don’t get me wrong, I like the sound of a well tuned “Blue” Hawk, but we want to hear your voice telling us what we are looking at! They could be videos of you going to fill up that “Green Machine” at your favorite gas stations.

Now we need to talk security! Ya gotta protect that little “Red” love machine! JerryHawk250 mentioned his alarm. I bought one! Now that would be a GREAT video!
