Great pics Jeremy, I should be there in Phils in 2 or 3 weeks, already have a house rented and a bike (not a Zongshen for now) purchased. My SO will be able to ride the YBR, the Zong is a bit tall for her.

As far as power goes, have you ever ridden the YBR125 or Honda XR200? If so how does your Zong compare?

I've compared specs on the internet, and by manufacturer ratings it seems the 200 is little better tan the 125 (your 150 makes more power than the 200), and the XR200 is substantially better than all of them.
As it should be for the price.

I'm going to get another bike in May, but still up in the air as to what that will be. Spares / service availability is important, and I'd like something a bit more distance and rough road capable, although the YBR does well for what it is. I fond the 150 had a very nice riding position for me, the 200 was more cruiserish with my feet too far forward to stand up easily.

This is the best time of the year here in PI.

Hi Tony, nice to know that.
But unfortunately i cannot comment between GY150 and XR200 as i haven't ridden an Xr in trails... but i won't be surprised if this GY won't lag that much behind the xr.
As i have riden with DT serow225, the GY was at par in top speed and overall perf.

Just like i said, the GY still has to prove its worth... so far i have ridden mine for almost 2000kms off road and still going very well so i hope the good story continues.

thanks! they are actually mountabike friends... hehehe...

here's how i treat this zong..... quite a long youtube thing, but can show you the trail we ride here - mostly single tracks, rutty with some short steep down hill and climbs.

2500kms almost... just off roading.
the manual i have is just the basic maintenance stuff - not detailed as how much torque to tighten screws, etc but more of the electrical diagrams, oil maintenance, and other specs.

'replaced the tires again...
the earlier set was not that grippy in tight trails and can't get off that easy from ruts... should be better now, ruling out my skill... hehe:

The new tires should make a huge difference in the soft stuff! Wish they sold that bike here, it looks fantastic! 8)
