Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a safe and joyful holiday. Oh yeah, don't complain your belly hurts because you ate too much. You should stop at your first serving.

Backatcha.

The fowl has been in our unheated screen room since yesterday morning, soaking in brine and will for about three more hours. Mrs.C made a pumpkin cheesecake yesterday. Me, I'll maybe be forced to hang Christmas decorations after taking Buster Dog for his walk then take the UraL on putt on empty roads.

I got to sneak in a ride before the rains start. Now I'm stuffed like a pig and ready for a nap. Lol

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! We're having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight. We had our big Thanksgiving feed last Saturday. It was perfect because nobody was pressed for time or had to dine and dash. Regardless, from our family to yours, we hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and get to spend time with family and friends!

That was the plan but the rain came in, so I bloated myself instead. Mrs.C is about to serve her homemade pumpkin cheesecake so I may just sleep in the family room instead.

Mrs.C and I both contributed to the post Turkey Day Leftovers Breakfast. She fried up the leftover bulk sausage, then baked those in cornbread. I threw an egg and some flour in the leftover mashed taters, mixed that up, and fried the mixture in butter ala pancakes. Tasty. Now the upcoming mile plus walk with the dog will happen shortly.

we refer to those as potato cakes. Mom would add onion too.

When I was a kid, mom called them mashed potato patties. Onion is a suggested addition but as I am allergic to and dislike them with a passion, they are nowhere near my concoction.
