Vader 125 **My mods**

I figured I would join in on the posts about mods to the vader. Mine is pretty light on them at the moment but I"ll update this as it progresses.

Pro Taper micro bars

17t front sprocket (really helps with the top speed and keeping the rpms down)

Maxxis M6024 on the front and rear. (Makes hitting the dirt roads and light trails a blast)

Led headlight bulb.

So, that's it at this point but just thought I would share!

Nice work jsumd! Got any future mods planned?
Also where did you purchase the 17T sprocket from? (Link) did you need a longer chain?
Also the LED bulb where and what style did you get? Thanks!

Sprocket : http://www.ebay.com/itm/17Tooth-428-...72.m2749.l2649

Longer chain : http://www.ebay.com/itm/428H-Heavy-D...72.m2749.l2649

Bulb : http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-H6-BA20D-...oAAMXQLs5RrkpK

Yes you will need a longer chain. It's probably the best mod I've made so. It makes cruising so much more comfortable.

I plan to put on a aftermarket rear shock because the stock one is awful for even light trail riding.

Does the speedometer read correctly with the 17t? Not sure where the speedometer reads off
And what's your top speed now?

I plan to do a gps run tomorrow to see exactly what my speeds are. According to my speedo I'm comfortably cruising about 47mph. Top speed I'm not sure on because I haven't really tried. Will let you know.

Pics coming later tonight!

Nice ride, those knobby tires add to the off-road look! Especially with the rack. Can't wait to hear back on the speeds!
