I wonder if they're having a hard time selling the Hayalon. There are a lot of bikes that compete directly with it. Not so much with the SG400, which has a retro niche and a price that is quite competitive compared to Triumph, Kawasaki (W800/KZ replica), and even Royal Enfield.
Personally if I was in the market for a low displacement naked, trellis-framed, italian-looking machine... I'd get a Benelli 302S. But then, I had the opportunity to ride the predecessor, the TNT300, and I thought it was great. With more displacement, more power, and better tires the 302S fixed everything I thought could be a little better on the TNT300. I still kinda want to snag one and get the SHAD bags for it and build it into a sport-tourer, but I've got too many bikes in the garage as it is. Charles. |
