Newbie From SC

I signed up after reading about SpudRiders mods to his ride.I am looking for the same bike GY200 or something along those lines.I currently own four Suzuki GS500E bikes, years 98,90,91,and 92.I'm looking to pick up a dual sport/enduro for a little minimalist travel.A link to this site was leaked over on the AdvRiders forum.I am kind of glad I found this site.I have been eyeing a brand new show room new 2009 Suzuki DR200 with 0 miles.Problem is the price. They were asking $3999 plus tax, tag, and tittle.I talked them down to $3200 plus tax, tags, and title.I then walked away.I got to thinking about this site and giving up my other bikes for this one.I just couldn't do it.I can't give up the bikes I have bled for and slaved over to rebuild from the ground up.Now I am here looking for a knock off to bleed and slave over.

Welcome!

Since you're a Suzuki fan, you'll appreciate the Q-Link; it's a very faithful 200cc Suzuki clone. Several members here have had one.

Welcome to these forums; we are glad you joined us! The Zongshen 200GY-2 is no longer imported into the United States. :( Therefore, I also encourage you to check out the QLink motorcycles. The QLink XP200 is the dual sport model, and the QLink XF200 is the supermoto model.

Isn't the XP200 the same as the DR200,or close to the same?I'm not a super moto guy, and I understand why they are referred to as motards.
