so i have a new 2019 hawk 250 and it seems to only have three speeds.. is that possible? am i missing something.. 45 on the street is my max?

Sounds like you are missing 4th and 5th gear. If it is brand new you may want to contact the company you bought it from.

Make sure nothing is getting in the way of the shift lever movement. Particularly check the bottom bolt that holds the front sprocket cover in place.

Have adjusted the play in the clutch lever yet? Too much slack will make it hard to shift.

What is my recourse if they continue this way? I dont have 20 miles on it yet. I really suspected a few things.. the crate was kinda broke up. the oil was low by half and filthy and now this. i am worried. If you have any other passing thoughts please let me know. Thanks you guys

Sounds like the sent you a used display model with a broken tranny. This wouldn't be the first time that has happened. How did you pay for it? You might be able to file for a complaint through your credit card or bank depending on how you paid for it.

TX powersports but the bill of sale says My Scooters and ATVS LLC also says there is no warranty expressed or implied and is sold "As Is".If i had to eat a broken tranny how much would that cost? I am so disappointed in people.
