My company is allowing us to work from home this week. I was in the office yesterday but working from my RV today. I'm very fortunate.

I’m working from home until at least the end of the month. A half dozen phone calls, a couple emails, a couple of text messages yesterday. Kinda like being semi retired.

We are still going full throttle here at work. Somebody has to keep the country going. Although we do have three hospital projects we were working on that got shut down until we get the all clear. We just picked up another hospital project and it got shut down before we could even start.

We hear you Jerry. So many jobs cannot be done through a laptop at home. Construction dead lines rarely change, even after a hurricane.

Mrs. 2LZ is now setup and is working from home. This means my retirement is on hiatus. I am now full-time House Be-otch until she goes back to the office.

Food?

My buddy is in commercial refrigeration and is working on a Walmart in Stockton CA. This is a pic of the dairy case at 9:00 last night when he clocked in. When he left at 5:00am, no one was stocking. He said there wasn't a hot dog left in the meat case either.
Good thing I like squirrel!

With a little luck, I’ll bust out of home arrest next week. Something broke down in the field.

Mrs. E is able to work from home, and the Mutant is still in daycare. His daycare is a lady that does it out of her house, but she's registered with the state and and all that good stuff. She had to implement some new procedures for the kids in order to stay open (parents aren't allowed past the front hallway, kids have to take their shoes off immediately upon entering, increased handwashing, etc.). Since I'm working at one of the largest hospital systems in AZ now, things are "interesting" for me. Luckily, I run the utilities plant and I'm able to hang out in the control room or work in the boiler room, chiller room, or generator room instead of having to go into the hospital main building. They've closed all the entrances into the hospital except the ED and Main Entrance, and everyone is screened as soon as they walk in the doors now.
Personally, I think this is crazy and people are over-reacting, but they didn't consult me when they went insane and decided to stock up on toilet paper instead of canned goods...

Now that everybody is finally washing their hands properly, next week we're going to start working on shapes and colors.

As I heard said on the radio one day, "I`m gonna be really glad if I hear people complaining about the safety procedures being oversized in a couple months"

First good thing about this all is being a family with a transport entrepreneur (mail delivery) and a nurse as parents we are currently on the VIP list of getting daycare sorted for the ferrets no matter how hard the crap hits the fan ( just hoping they don`t bring it home from there as I can NOT afford being off work for two weeks)

One of our local counties has placed a 24 hour curfew on those under 18 years old, without being accompanied by a guardian. Travelling to work or medical care are the exceptions.
-Our youth will have to tough it out at home, watching youtube and playing on-line video games.

Having the Mrs at home working isn't too bad but I have to be as quiet as possible. She does brain work and has conference calls. No playing drums for a while. Worst part is that after 6 weeks of beautiful weather, since she's been sent home, it's been freezing and snowing. To cold to escape to the garage!

Current inventory:
30 pack of TP- ok
Half gallon of Crown is at a measly 30%- about to hit reserve
14 beers- grim

I may have to go on a search.
