Picture of MCO for Hawk from Q9
UPDATE: Didn't take all that long (9 days), was apparently in the works when they led me to believe it wasn't.
Q9 is taking their sweet time getting me the MCO, different story every time I contact them. I have a blank one that came with the bike. If I had an example, I could put the blank one to good use. Cover up your VIN if you don't feel comfortable sharing that. Last edited by pcspecialist; 05-26-2016 at 03:55 AM. |

i've always been of the understanding that if someone is already willing to sign something (like a check) and you aren't doing anything duplicitous, that it's actually legal to sign for someone else as a matter of expediency, but that's my personal opinion and not any kind of official legal statement my guess is your MCO will be arriving soon, if Q9 signed it and sent it immediately to you, it could arrive tomorrow and if not then i would expect it by early next week |

Hang in there pc,Adam took care of me.
If it wasn't for him I would still be waiting for mine. I also had that issue with q9, got a different story every time. Not sure why they do that but anyways Adam fixed it and I got my Mco so all is well now. |

yes, it is the different story every time that concerns me. I haven't waited all that long yet, but, the conflicting stories have me believing they are taking their sweet time.

Yeah that was my issue as well.
If they had just given me a time frame of when it Would be completed I would of been fine. But they went from saying it was being filled out as we speak and will be mailed today, To when it didn't show and I called they said they hadn't even received the paperwork yet. That was when my red flag went up, but Adam got the paperwork out as soon as he read my post and I received it promptly after that. Q9 was great at shipping it to me really fast and they were all nice on the phone, but the whole lying about the paperwork thing well that I just don't get. Anyways I hope your resolution is as speedy as mine was, I see Adam is involved now so I will tell you your in good hands now. |

There is no way this is coincidence or slow mail, We all use the mail service everyday and we know it's far more predictable than this. Other than someone with a pile of requests sitting on their desk while they do nothing I cant see any reason for the wait. Yet it seems to be the norm, what do I know maybey the paperwork will show up today. I still cant help but notice a trend whenI see it. My 2 cents. I also wonder why we get the blank mco in the box? |

I finally was able to contact killermotorsports on the mco, they claim they sent it out the day after they received it, and cant do anything but wait for the manufacturer to return it, then he said they have to take it to the dmv and have it transfered to my name.
ive never heard that before... does that really happen? of course he offered to take $25 to expidite the mail when they finally are able to ship it to me.. I told him I dont see the us mail as the bottleneck, I dont think he got the hint. anyone know how this process works? Last edited by jimwildman; 06-06-2016 at 03:01 PM. Reason: spelling |

First things first... File a Paypal dispute immediately - you can always drop it later if need be. .

I just bought a hawk from Q9 and am waiting on a call from the carrier for delivery. I did read this thread before I purchased the bike so I poked around their website and found the link for "Title Processing MSO / MCO Product Registration".
http://www.q9powersports.com/MSO---p...stration-.html Did you guys see this link and follow the instructions and still have problems? It looks like they are required to send the MCO to the factory in China, that seems like an unpredictable step. From everything that I have read, it seems like everyone eventually gets their MCO from Q9 but it could be 3 days or 3 weeks. In other news - I had emailed them earlier in the day asking if they had a black 2016 available and was assured they did. After paying they called and said they were out of black and it would be another 3-4 weeks before more would get to the warehouse in Texas, I told them about the email and eventually went with red. The one that shows up better be black or red! I am not the most pleased with Q9 at this point. |

MCO from Q9
I bought my hawk from Q9 in April and got the bike within a week. I followed the directions on the website and had the signed MCO in about 2 weeks. In Texas getting the thing registered was a breeze. Once you have the MCO contact an insurance agent (I used Dairyland) and insure it, get it inspected and then go to your local tax office with the MCO, Insurance card, Inspection receipt and a filled out Application for title (and about $150) and you are legal.
