air screw? Hawk is a 4-stroke, not a 2-stroke. And if you read my comment before that you would have read that I would have it set (and forget) before the part even arrived.

4 stroke , 2 stroke , even the Suzuki RE5 rotory.. no diffrents...

if the screw is on the filter side, it is an air screw and screwing it in richens the mixture, out leans it. This type of carb is for a 2-stroke. If the screw is on the engine side, it is a fuel mixture screw and screwing it in leans it and out richens it. This type of carb is for a 4-stroke.

Congragulations! Sounds like you have it jetted just right. In some other post, I commented on how important clean carburation is, right from slow idle on up. Really important on off-road motorcycles. Happy motor-cycling is my wish for you.
