Spud, sorry to hear of the crankshaft nut issues, but glad that you and CSC were able to resolve quickly, you were able to find all the metal bits (thank goodness for the magnetic drain plug, oil filter and dual oil strainers!) and that you're on your way once again!

Ditto what everyone else has said about CSC - outstanding customer service and advisories! I very much like (and appreciate) the proactive approach that CSC has taken toward maintenance and service.

I get that good sense too from csc. Kinda like the early Saturn vibe before gm swallowed them.

Seems like they are willing to partner with the customer, rather than extract every nickel and dime from the customers wallet at all costs.

Not that I have any thing against profit, it makes society function.

Saturn was a responsive great little car company ... and you're right .... "they" put an end to that nonsense as fast as possible. Can you say the "Tucker 48" ? ? ?

What? Saturn was GM, conception to grave.

I feel Steve and his CSC business model is akin to PABATCO and their Hodaka brand. Offer a quality product at a sensible price, provide good support, live happy.

Well yes you are right. I felt that in the early times saturn operated Independently of gm but became so rapped up in the gm standard they lost their culture that won their loyal customer support. In my opinion near the end it was just another pontiac Buick xcetera. Thus brought down with the giant in 2009 .

A few days ago I put in an order from Taobao. Amongst other things I ordered 2 Zongshen roundel badges.

Today I received an email saying that Only the new design is available. Not a problem.

So the silver on black has gone and this is its replacement which matches the logo on the possible RX4 pictures.

I have seen the new Zongshen roundels; I was wondering when they were going to switch over.

I believe Zongshen means "dragon" in Chinese; hence, the new image on the roundels.

If Google Translate is to be trusted, it means "Depth"

"depth" is probably not as accurate as "profound"

then again.
zong translates to Total
shen translates to Dios which tanslates to god

so Zǒng shén means "total god"

(some other meanins of shen are: spirit, diety, expression)

(zong can translate as: total, overall, always, chief, head) or
(zhong which can be used as a preposition meaning: in, within, among, etc)

could be something along the lines of

in spirit
total expression
among God

etc

but the test with any translation is if it can translate back again. the only one that translates back is total god, they sure are modest

however zhongsheng translates to being/presence/existence - or roughly soul

it might be a bit of a play on words

This makes sense. "Depth" or "Profound" is right up there with "Speed" and "Adventure". ;-)

as for the cyclone badge I'd take that over the TT stickers on the TT250.
