Bar End Slider/Weight
I did a quick search and found nothing, so far.
I went to put in my bar end sliders last night and after hole sawing a 1" hole in the end of my grip....the dang bars are aluminum, thick and have a little 1/2"(-) / 12.5 MM hole in the end. I like the sliders more for a bar weight and dampener than protection. I've found they really squelch vibration, especially in 7/8" regular bars like on Q and the TT. Does anyone have a link to any or have some they like and recommend, that fit the stock 2015 bars?

How did you get the nut to stay still inside the handle bar?

Just pre-seat the nut against the rubber piece, lightly. Insert it into the bar, while holding the weight, turn the bolt... all the three pieces (weight, rubber, nut) should stay together with the nut against the rubber, and as you turn the bolt the rubber piece start to expand against the inner handlebar walls, securily fixing it all.
