How about a Bonneville? Euro- standard. A bare naked cafe.

no pure cafe. my back can't handle the position any more. I have eyed the bonnies for some time. however, I like the Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor too.

That Royal Enfield 650 is nice. Quite comparable to the Bonnie

There's a 2012 BMW 1200RT listed on Craiglist for $8,750. Loaded with ALL options and a few aftermarket things. Reviews are very good. They all comment that it feels lighter and much more agile than the size and weight would suggest. The low center of gravity helps. Electric adjustable windshield, heated grips and seats. They say wind management is amazing. It apparently does well sport riding if your keep the rpm over 4500 in the twisties.

Even if I could afford it, my wife won't get on any motorcycle. It is a shame! I'd love to take some touring rides with her on that bike.
