Cold start throttle squirts have the same bog, well for me anyway. So I wouldn't be concerned with it unless the bike was already at running temperature.

Seems eager to go...

Still ice cold

I have yet to run her for more than a minute as I really wanna change the oil before giving her the beans (has about a half bottle of Kroil washed down into the crankcase)

Today's goal was just checking the carb for leaks and to make sure the battery is getting charged while running (14.4v, so it's good).

Plan on ripping out all the old burnt wiring and tidying up a few things for a short road test if I have time tomorrow.

It was pretty rusty, but I soaked in vinegar, then boiled and re-boiled (don't tell the Mrs. I used her pot lol)

Still need to do a bit of wiring

That electrical drum is tiny for this bundle of snakes

Thinking about added a relay box to the front of the frame to make things a bit more tidy

Thanks

I went with Black and Tan to match my Land Cruiser as I'll be hauling it out back

Replacing the speedo with one that has a gear indicator

Need to swap the 3rd and 5th wires and add a jumper to the Neutral light

I like that custom spoke lacing on the rear wheel. It looks like the rims are bespoke for that lacing pattern. It is another unique part of that piece of working art from Cleveland.

It could be kind of rare. I don't know how many they sold, but hand built customs like this are not made in high production numbers!

Thanks

Looking for a little more symmetry, so I added a matching twist grip on the left side for the choke.

Now on the hunt for a small headlight master switch that somewhat matches the kill switch
