Two up

On Sunday I rode my RX3 with a passenger for the first time. Apart from having to take the pillion footrests apart because the detent spring and locating ball had rusted solid on both sides, everything went awesomely. The friend about 5"10 and me a husky 5"8 were a tight fit between the tank and the top box but not impossibly so.
I was expecting to really struggle but the bike coped very well, pulling smoothly and without any fuss. The brakes were enough and the handling still predictable and worry free. I was a little worried at the beginning that the load would be damaging but once again Zongie just soldiered through.
I received a compliment or two from the passenger for the good suspension and the really clear instruments. He has a 250 Suzuki cruiser.
