Brozz 250 questions?

Ok everybody so peace powersports/brozz250 has 2018 brozz left but will be getting the 2020s in about month but price will be a bit higher than I really want to go. So my question is are the 2018s good or should I just save up or look at something like the tbr7? What are some differences on the 2018s vs say the 2019s brozz that might make it a deal breaker? Sorry for so many questions I'm just really new to this whole thing.

The 2018 models they have left have standard forks and rear drum brake. Still a great bike for the price $1499. https://shop.brozz250.com/eshopprod_..._Brozz_250.htm

I've got a 2018 Brozz Blue Eagle and it has a couple of upgrades from the standard Brozz. The standard Brozz like Jerry said has standard forks and rear drum brake. But it still has a very good counterbalanced engine and comfy cushion seat, and a digital cluster. I think $1499 is a good price for the bike myself. I really enjoy mine and it really is a good bike, I take mine all over the place without any issues at all. Plus Peace sports is a good dealer and they stock parts for the Brozz. Good luck whatever you decide!

Ill give another +1 for the Brozz and Peace sports. I've had a great experience. Your really only missing out on the USD forks, which are a bit better, but the normal are fine with a brace + they have more travel than the USD. The rear drum is a little annoying but you don't have to deal with the lever/master cyl hanging below the frame like with the rear disk.

Thanks everyone sounds like I really wouldn't be missing out on much if I go for the 2018. Just one more question how does the brozz compare to the slightly cheaper hawk or tbr7

You will probably come out ahead of the TBR7 since it is spec'd like the standard Brozz (assuming the TBR7 still has a drum brake) but the Brozz has a fantastic reputation while the TBR7 is still not as known (the Brozz has been around since '14). I am sure you would do ok with the TBR7, but I am fairly certain you will do well with a standard Brozz. The Hawk has a HUGE following and much information, but you do have to do a lot of upgrades out of the box whereas the Brozz, not really any upgrades are needed.

This thread brings up a good thought; since people feel they need to 'compromise' with the standard 2018 Brozz, perhaps Peace can consider having a model with dual disc brakes and standard forks and call it the Shark 250 like was available alongside the Brozz when Peace distributed these bikes in 2014. I really liked the look of the Shark 250, but for simplicity sake, the Shark could be a Brozz but with standard forks and eliminate some of the other upgrades. That would negate having to carry a different line of plastics.

The TBR7 does have rear disc brakes, but does not have the counter balanced or the digital cluster. When I got mine from Q9 it was only $1286.
I almost bought the 2018 Brozz Blue Eagle but alas the TBR7 was what I had money for at the time. The TBR7 also has an “adjustable” rear shock I’m not sure about the Brozz. Good luck I’m sure you will love what ever you get.
Also do you plan on riding more on the road or dirt. If dirt I would opt for the Hawk because it is set up for more dirt than the Brozz or the TBR7

Keep in mind the standard Brozz is pretty popular wordwide so it is a proven unit as is. 10,000 standard Brozz get sold to just South America every year.

I may end up getting more standard Brozz and offering it as the low cost Brozz to compete with the other mentioned bikes price point but right now the overwhelming interest is how the '20 models will be spec'd. $2k isn't much in the motorcycle world but in this market, even just $250 more or less seems to be a determining factor for some regardless of quality of the unit.

The good reputation ALONE of Peace Sports is well worth the difference in price between a TBR7 and a Brozz 250 or Hawk , unfortunately right now regardless of what they say if you have troubles of any sort when you get the Hawk or TBR7, good luck actually getting any help ,whereas Peace Sports will be there for you.

Part of owning a Chinabike is realising you are on your own to a large degree but that should not apply to plainly valid warranty claims or initial reciept of a damaged machine, but good luck getting a Manny to send you those warranty parts .

I have called Peace many times and a human being always picks up the phone ,and not just to suggest i go piss off .Not to imply i had problems with a Brozz , i did not but i was asking questions and chasing parts for a friend who is less than mechanically inclined. Save yourself potential heart and headaches and buy the Brozz from Peace and enjopy your bike instead of wanting to kill yourself after dealing with a "Manny" .

I love my brozz. I've had it a year I think next month and have had zero problems. Highly recommend it.

See I'm all for the brozz but seeing as they don't do financing that kills it for me. I have enough credit with affirm to cover it but they don't use affirm so it doesn't do me any good unfortunately

I purchased a Brozz before Peace Sports was around, I have had no problems with mine and I love it. If I was to buy again I would buy from Peace without a doubt.
