I did the R/C thing with my (ex) stepson for a while. We had a couple of R/C 10's and a T Max. Man, if a person thinks China Bikes need a lot of attention they should try the R/C hobby! :P

I also did line control airplanes for a while. I enjoyed that a lot.

I've never crashed the big ones, but the R/C's give me fits! 8O

For a regular pilot to fly an R/C it's hard because our training relies on seat of the pants feel and instruments. I'll stick to what I know! The line control (circles) planes were fun. Just little balsa planes with .049's. Not including paint I'd have one built in an hour or so.

Once the new house is built - arcade cabinets!

I'm going to call my basement the 'Nerdsonian'.
I think that an arcade cabinet is a great idea. I'd love to get an old school black and white Sprint with two steering wheels. The 2D colour version that followed wasn't anywhere near as fun.

I've had a few, they take up a lot of space, but otherwise they can be fun... I had one, which wasn't in working condition and it ended up being destroyed and sent to the dump, unfortunately I found afterwards it was somewhat collectible and I could have probably gotten around $1000 for it. I also found an original in good shape space invaders cabinet on abbotsfords craigslist not long ago for a really good deal but I was a day late calling about it.

There are very few for sale locally but quite a few come up on EBAY. It's a logistical nightmare to get them home unless you want to pay large $$$ for freight, and then there's no guarantees on condition when they arrive.

My brother lives in VA, next time I visit I may have to bring one or two back with me.
