Arizona is a hot desert with nothing but cactus :)

I hear it all the time This is not an abnormal amount of snow for us .
What was odd is that it snowed for over thirteen hours straight 8O , But it rained after that for about three or four hours melting alot of the snow. After that it snowed all night and got the snow back up the what You see here. Our ski resort got 45 inches in less than six hours 8O . Thousands were without power for a very long time, The other ski resort in AZ got 40 inches...They are not as cool as us 8) Enjoy

Want to bounce?

I can see a house from here.

YES the Subaru did get out and to the store under it's own power.
It's what makes a Subaru a Subaru

For the Nature lovers.

Another angle, That's trampoline is sagging bad.

This is out the window of where I work the day BEFORE the real storm got here.

I can't see a cactus anyhwere

Wow. I bet Vancouver is jealous. Winter Olympics coming, but no snow on the local mountains here

That's cool!

Last year, we had a huge year for snowfall all up and down our 'wet coast' We usually have rain in buckets but we were 'blessed' with that stuff from October through March. This year, hardly any. It was +12 C (53 F) and Sunny today, like an April spring day, and tomorrow we go quadding!

I bring this up because last year I had a similar looking trampoline..and I'd really suggest you get out there and kick that snow off there before it turns into a sheet of ice on the bottom, and sags almost to the ground. Not good for the springs, and a real beotch to get off once that happens!!

Enjoy the snow!

...and a side note, in 2.5 weeks the world comes to our city for the Winter Olympics. We've spent billions in preparation for this 2 week 'celebration.' I looked out my office window today, across the water to the North Shore mountains, and what did I see? Green trees, right to the top. No snow. The only white is where I can see they've piled up as much snow as they can scratch up, into one mountain run which I can only assume is for some event. I certainly hope, that mother nature can cool us off enough that we didn't just spent billions, for everyone to stand around and look skyward for snow.

Yeah I wouldn't have expected to see snow there... But I'm not too familiar with the Arizona climate. I was in Vegas last year, and apparently it snowed there just after we left.

Amen! In my youth I shoveled tons of wet, heavy snow in Pennsylvania. Fortunately, the Idaho skies drop a dry, powdery snow.

If possible, attempt to sweep/shovel the snow off your awning, AZ. Even if you don't get all the snow off the awning, you can still lighten the load considerably.

I think I have figured out a way, I can't stand on it but I think if I toss a bunch of ice melt on it it will make the melting process go much faster. More snow expected wednsday 8O
