Thats weird. Ive had mine for a while and I too tried installing it yesterday with (obviously) the same results.

I'll just toss mine onto the classifieds here and ebay. Someone can get some good use from it.

So.....Round two. If anyone knows of a replacement that fits out bikes, please advise.

Does it look exactly like the picture? It should fit.
Like I said in a prior post, you can flip them upside down depending on which way the carb points.
On my X-moto, since you can no longer flex the manifold, I had to mount the carb to the manifold, then work the whole unit into place.
