More Toys

Not that I don't have enough schmise filling my garage, but one of these sure looks tempting as a neighborhood runner. At least I won't have to pay DMV!

Looks like one of those "Coleman" things (with a bend in the seat) you can pick up for about $499 around my area... looks like they have both the Coleman and the MegaMoto at the same price online.

My only gripe with those things is the cc to hp ratio is extremely low... those "200cc" engines are good for a whole 7 ponies... I swear I have had a few 50 to 80cc motors that put down more power than that

I have an old Baja warrior /heat with the 6 hp engine and it is a great bike for putting around ,and it can wheelie ! I can’t stand the Harley looks and low seat on mine so I am going to change it up a bit ,but it runs and rides just fine out of the box .I got it for $100.00 with the ripcord broken and other than that it’s been great .I have even used it at -30 this winter with no problems .

These have the Honda clone engines ala Harbor Freight Predator. Nothing wrong there though. I bought one of the engines for my snowblower a few years back and it's still running strong. My power washer has the same type with no issues either.

Also, if more power is needed, these can be hopped up in steps.

That would work great around here in the sand.

Maybe after I get the 700arcticrap running, I can get the old 1961 caper cycle running. Tillotson hd carb, if I remember right, diaphragm. Automatic edition.....centrifugal clutch....top speed maybe 25. Westbend engine. My memory is not fading!!! In fact I run into the title the other day, last time is was registered was 1961, still in my dad's name.
