DB-D001 vs. DB-P13
Hello all, I am new to the board and have been reading all the post to get a feel on which bike I may want to buy. I like the reviews on the DB-P12, but want a bike that has a luggage rack and plate light. I saw two bikes at powersportsmax that are similar in price and features but I'm not sure which one is the better buy. Can someone compare these two models and give me some thoughts on which one might be the better deal?

The plate light will be easy to install if needed. A luggage rack from another model may fit on the back too.
It seems that the powersportsmax people are helpful if you can get them on the phone. Allen

P13 looks similar to a GY2 to me.

I seen both a cargo rack and plate lights on the P13 and D023 models.
If it was up to me. I would go for the P13 first then the D023. The D001 still has a drum brake on the rear, but it has both the plate light and rack. The DB-12 model is nice, but you would have to add those items. Since all the bikes likely came off the same assembly line the performance will be similar. Allen

I tried but after 5 min. I gave up. So much flash on their site. 45333bpm dial-up. I wouldn't rely on my opinion anyway, I just wanted to see the difference. :?

Thanks
Thanks for the opinions. I do like the P13 and 023 alike. In the long run I might end up with the P12 and just add a plate light and some type of side bags to carry stuff. I'll wait for a couple more reviews before I decide. Does anyone know if the 023 has the 169FML engine?

Can't tell what engine from the pictures. You would have to call and ask. I would dare to say that a rack from another model would bolt up to the 12. You could ask if they can order a rack too.
