If I can get someone to build a wheel for it that would be awesome. I was thinking about buying a stock front rim and a rear hub which are both 36 spoke and not very expensive from the factory and having buchanan build one but i'm not sure if the 18 inch front wheel will work with the stock rear hub. Any advice?
I am willing to build a custom, 18-inch wheel for you. If you are interested, send me a personal message via this website, and we can discuss the details.

Spud, would you still recommend the Park Tools truing stand? I'm looking for a stand, and I'd be grateful for your guidance.

I like my Park Tools truing stand; I think it's a good value for the money. You can certainly get better truing stands, but they will cost much more.

The link you originally posted is dead; would you be so kind as to show us an updated link? I've been looking at the Tusk truing stand, and I'd like to compare them. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/...nd?term=truing

FWIW, in the bicycle world, Parks is known for making top notch tools.

I have several concerns regarding the Tusk Truing Stand. Firstly, I wonder what stops the wheel assembly from moving right or left. I might be wrong, but it appears the axle assembly can shift laterally on top of the truing stand, and this would certainly make truing wheels more difficult. Also, I think it would be hard to judge radial and lateral trueness using the Tusk pointer.

I own a TS-7M truing stand, which I like very much.

You can still purchase the TS-7M, but it has been replaced by the TS-8.

The crazy dude in that video put the pointer in backwards for a motorcycle wheel. One should install the other, pointed end towards the rim of a motorcycle wheel. However, you can see the quality construction of the Park Tools Truing Stand, and its easy assembly.

On another note, have you verified the spokes for the Lifan GY bikes are identical to Honda XR200 spokes?

Apropos of nothing at all: In days of old, when riders were bold, we ran 4.00X18 rear, and 3.50-4.00X19 fronts on loose sand. 2.75 - 3.00X21 fronts on loamy/rocky ground.
