Troubleshooting coolster 125CC start

My daughters coolster died and wouldn't crank when using the button. The green neutral light is lit, and when you push the button it goes out but no crank. Also no headlights with the key on. I jumped across the starter solenoid with a screwdriver and got it to fire. What else can I check to figure out why you can't push button start it?

Battery, brake switch, kill switch, starter relay, ignition switch, neutral switch, are places to start.

Battery tests good, brake switch bypassed. I'm not sure how to test the rest or where to go from here.

If you got it to start by bypassing the solenoid then it is suspect. It's just an electromagnet, activated when you push the start button. Test by holding it in your hand or with your fingers and pushing the start button. You should feel/hear a click when it activates. Pretty cheap to replace.

Thank you, I don't feel any click or noise. I also see when I press the start button the neutral light does go out while it's pressed, so the start button I know is doing "something". I ordered a new solenoid from amazon for 8 bucks and will see if it fixes it!

How did you test the battery ? Sounds like it’s crapping out to me .
