TaoTao kart upgrade

Hello All,

I bought a TaoTao gokart with a gk110 engine. The engine is really badly seized. I was wondering if you guys know of a drop-in engine that's bigger or that's a 4-speed. The gk110 ran well and had ok speed, but it always felt like it had a lot of top end speed left and could use another gear.
If I could upgrade to a 125 or 150+ that would be great!

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Better to post some pics of the Kart and drive train, as these model numbers change all the time.

that looks to be the common pit bike/ mini quad motor. You have tons of options, full manual, semi manual, full auto like its got and ones with reverse. if you want to spend a good bit you should be able to get a 190 in there.

This is one of the site vendors, they have some options.

So I bought and received the 125cc engine.
The wiring harness on the cart has a 5 wire and a 3 wire. The harness on the new engine is a 5 wire and 4 wire.
Do you guys know where I can get an adapter?

Hey dudes,
So I've been a little busy, but I got this thing assembled.
Here's the situation-
There is spark.
Won't fire with ether.
Fuel is getting into the carb.
Won't fire up.
Any recommendations?

Check valves. Sometimes out of the crate these can have valves that are 100% tight.

Yep check the valves. Timing could be off too, did you use the stuff that came with the new motor?
