I prefer the 1100 because it had a more moderate seating position with the clip ons above the triple clamp, a higer seat, and lower footpegs. I am old ;-)

Plus the torque of the original GS/GSXR1100's was really excellent.

I love how the tachs on those bikes started at 3000. When asked a Suzuki engineer said they left off the numbers 1 and 2 to save weight :-)

In their day they were the baddest a$$ lightweight high performance bike of the day, by a wide margin. A true step forward in motorcycle design. Long since eclipsed but I like them. Make mine the red white and blue one. 1986.
