Usb Charging port wiring??

Hi

I have bought auxiliary sockets for my Honley Rx3.
The problem is that in my motorbike there are no cables and plugs for the Aux power output.
I know how to wiring the cigarette lighter socket.
Usb socket give me a trouble.
I have bought the original parts on Taobao from zongshen factory. The same as Csc motorcycle selling.
I have this litle green box with 6 connectors wich do not have idea where plugs what?
Can anyone please do a litle diagram, where to put +12v , -12v, and the other 4 to usb port.

Thanks

Maybe this going to help us
Is shuld be wery isy to find where wich cable is going where, with multi miter switch first on to 20 V to find +12V than -12v.
Than remove green box and find where is battery power connectors.
Than find out wich one of the other 4 conector going to which in usb sockets, by switching the multimeter in to ohms position.
This my help us to describ:

__------___
I -1 -2 -3 I
I -4 -5 -6 I
--------------
Green resistor socket

___-----___
I- 10 -11 I
I-12 -13 I
--------------
USB socket

I just cuddle not find this information any where.
It's my help someone in future, and I will be so happy to.
Thanks

Best regards

Artur, is there a part number on the green resistor box?

It may be different from the part number that Taobao or Zongshen uses.

Sorry, but I don't have the USB connection, so can not check my bike.

Jay

The green resistor is have a hot print on top :Lihua.
And white print on side:
83600-M954-0000
DC12V-DC5V/1A
D0304
ZS160325

If you motorbike have the factory usb wiring harness, so if you want you could help me?

Under the passenger seat, if you have the socket for resistor, after switching the ignition in to ON position the two cables in the conector shuld be live +12v ,-12v.

The other 4 are probably running in to conector by the front lamp, for usb socket connector.

Csc motorcycle on the website showing all this parts wich I'm talking hire, in the tutorial information of auxiliary sockets.

I need to know wich are the two +12V and - 12V,
And wich one conector conect to conector by front lamp.

Thanks

artur,
I just checked my white plug (I have the CSC USB plug and the green resistor). Here's the electrical pin output I got with the ignition on:

note that I got ground on two pins and 12V DC on one.

Hope this helps somehow.

will your USB charge your phone? The 1A is to weak to charge my Samsung Galaxy S5, which isnt a brand new, state of the art phone. At best, it keeps it from discharging, but when I have my Sena on, it keeps making the "ding" alert when it starts and stops charging. It's basically unusable. I just wired one onto the battery. Wasted a hundred bucks. My biggest complaint with the bike, really.

AD, I have not tried to charge my iPhone using that USB port. It seems to me the limiting factor is that green resistor only puts out 1A. We would have to replace that unit with one having the same pinout but more than 1A of output on the USB side. Messing with electrons is above my pay grade. We are bound to have someone on the board with an idea of how to fix this problem...but it ain't me.

Ive seen your work! Your pay grade is pretty dang high lol. Newer phines require 2A and its funny how the phones come from China...the bikes come from China, they are on top of tech innovation...yet we get usb that will power a flip phone. That and the too-low tstat are my only nits im picking....not too shabby.

Artur, ouch! Maybe I was not clear enough...the pins were on the white connector. At any rate, if you find a green resistor that is 2A and plugs into the RX3 white socket, please post the source here. I did a search and could not come up with anything that looked like it would do the job.

Don't worry about that is not your fault Peter.
I have asked your for the wiring diagram because in my motorbike there are no wire harness for Usb auxiliary plugs,2014 model. I was plannig to make one.
I will use the original aux sockets wich are mounted to instrument claster, and mont new resistor under the seat, make new cables and job done.
If you want you could use the original harness to install new 2A or 3A resistor.

I have already bought one on eBay named:

Dual Double 2 USB DC-DC Car Converter Module 12V To 5V 3A 15W Power Adapter

The best ask someone to do for you incase your do mistake like me :-)
