This should help the obesity issues society is facing, no people who have the ability, don't have to walk anymore... Kind of a neat toy I suppose, but what's the point? It kind of seems like a giant waste of Honda's money and engineering talent to me, but maybe I just don't see what the ultimate goal is? Personal mobility for those without any sort of handicap is already pretty simple and efficient, all you need is 2 legs. This device doesn't look like it's targeted towards people with handicaps, only lazy people?

That's really cool. 8)
If it travelled fast enough, I could see a practical application in warehouses and large facilities.

Thank you for the very cool link, Wayne! I think this device can provide greater mobility than a wheelchair for many people recovering from knee surgery, et cetera.

I'm waiting for the sidewalks that move me like the Jetsons had, I can eat a twinkie while going to the ice cream shop all while putting out no effort Being serious though, I would like to try one out just to see if it could be a fun toy.
