Collectors?

Just curious if we have any collectors here. And if so what do You collect?
I collect old coins, I have some from the mid 1800's and up, Silver gold stamps etc. An old coffee percolator from the 1800's
I also am building a small collection of old HIFI equipment starting with one Ghettoblaster we've had since the 80's and another I got from ebay that is built in 1987..I am adding some old Walkmans and a ton of old cassettes to that collection.

And a ton of baseball cards and the like, They're not really worth anything really because the are from the 80's but I keep em just the same.

My plan is to wait for a better economy and sell all this off and start an account for my daughter, We'll see how that goes.

Add that in with all My Atlanta Falons memorabilia and I have no room to even display the stuff

So who else keeps old stuff around :?:

I have a ton of old radio control car stuff.
Some of it is worth quit a bit some of it is just about worthless for the next 10-15 years then it may be worth something.

I dont keep it to sell so much as I just liked running RC's years ago and some of the old stuff is really cool.

I plan to make many many shelfs in my garage to store/display all the RC stuff and hopefully go through all of it and sort it all out.

With the new house having such large yard I plan to put in an RC track sometime so I can walk out back and run them around once in awhile.

I just got back from the poor mans mall (flea market ) and they have a bunch of old electronics there.

Military firearms. I have arms from the Civil War to current. Representitive weapons from most all combatants represented. I shoot all of them, frequently. I also load my own ammo, which is critical for shooting a weapon that was produced 120 years ago in a country that may not even exist anymore.

I also collect antique cameras.

Ex wives also, but I'll stop that collection at 1.

Old computers and video game consoles. I must have at least 3-4 Atari 2600's, Commodore 64's, VIC-20's, Apple II's, etc...

Once the new house is built - arcade cabinets!

I'm going to call my basement the 'Nerdsonian'.

I got rid of most of my junk when I moved, don't have a lot of space so trying to keep the extra stuff to a minimum.

I have a lot of DVD's not sure if you'd call that collecting?

collections

before my divorce i too had alot of rc stuff mostly nitro,at one time I had 2 losi LST's ,2 traxxas t-maxx and 2 electric mini's, the losi mini T and associated rc18, I also built 3 t-maxx's from scratch from all my parts boxes and sold them. Now I just work on them for people ,that don't want to pay the high hobby shop labor fees.I still can't believe guys will bring me a $600.00 rc truck or buggy brand new in the box and have me break it in for them and tune.People are missing out on half the fun of rc's which is working on and fixing them after you crash them into a metal pole!
