This is gonna suck.

I've seen this happen before, around this time last year and I recall all the things that went wrong.

God mis-set the thermostat and the temps plummeted.

The sun went down to California for about 3 months. Unless I glanced out the window at work, I never saw it.

Clouds everywhere, wind, and sometimes fog. The fog would freeze. How rude.

White $hit fell out of the sky, although thankfully last year, not where I was. I can't count on that good luck continuing though.

I froze my knutskies off on a regular basis riding the bike.

PLEASE tell me it's not gonna happen again!

I HATE WINTER!

Not a fan of winter here either! Maybe they'll cancel it this year and we'll just have a really long fall?? Wishful thinking on my part

***Do not open till Christmas!***

Lol, okay, it's not ice and snow yet so you might not want to check this ADV link out. There's a couple of really entertaining videos to watch as well. Save it till your snowbound for entertainment and then plan accordingly... Lol!

I couldn't resist looking at a few photos, Stew. Indeed, I wait wait until I am snowbound before I read that thread. Thanks for posting the link.

Too Hard Core. Thumbs up!

Crazy Canadians ;-)

The KLR. The one bike to have if you're having only one.

Speaking of The Killer, our new member, Kurt Franz from Ohio, also owns a 2008 KLR650.

Aye, a popular bike indeed!
Love mine, but it could be about 100 pounds lighter and 2 inches shorter to be perfect

I could say the same about my Honda XR650L.

Isn't that the truth! I really felt sorry for Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman as they wrestled with those mammoth BMWs!

When they couldn't get the KTM bikes Charley wanted, they should have taken KLR650 motorcycles!

That bike essentially exists. It's called the Husqvarna Terra, it's about 100 pounds lighter than the KLR, with some pretty awesome suspension and chassis components. I doubt, however, that it is any less tall.

I'd love to check the Terra's out, I haven't seen any on the road here yet though. Love a lighter dual sport, have to carry extra fuel, the tank looks teensy!
