I just fell in love! I personally like active pickups but I like that extra crunch they give. Amazing work Bogie.

Thanks, its currently just a hobby, but i wouldnt mind doing custom work like this someday as (somewhat) gainful employment....LOL i have loved working with wood (get your mind out of the gutter...LOL) since i was about 10...as for the pickups, most all of my musical tastes arent "crunchy"....LOL im a big fan of the 60s-70s, bands like chicago, the beatles, boston, and early stuff from journey...crunch doeent fit that stuff...LOL i just love the way a p90 or a PAF bucker sings with my tube amp....

And i realized watching myself play i do some wierd stuff with my head when i get playing that i never noticed before....LOL

You do beautiful work, and you play very well, Bogie!

Here's a beautiful lady, with a beautiful voice, to accompany the beautiful instruments displayed in this thread.

Its probably the multi pickup system i installed last yr, so i can directly record it to my computer.... Heres the guitar part to a song i am currently working on...

Ok last threadjack post for now....LOL this is my churches praise team, comprised of junior high-college age instrumentalists and vocalists, and our pianist is in her late 70s...definately a different than average group, but it fits our worship style...i am playing the martin guitar in this one as well...

Here's some more banjo music. Dirk Powell sings his composition, Boats Up the River, with Mike McGoldrick accompanying beautifully on the bagpipes.

Ron Block plays the banjo with Alison Krauss and Union Station for this rendition of Man of Constant Sorrow.

Sorry I just caught this thread now.

I respect and appreciate the excellent work you do. I know nothing about instruments or music but I recognize artistic talent and dedication when I see it.

Cool avatar pic also, BTW. Looks like an album cover!

I'm betting that you don't record because the music is personal to you.
