I might add the stock chain fits this ratio. I changed mine 5 miles later to a 0-ring from e-bay. 32.00 bucks. Also watch out on tightening the front sprocket. It has small amount of play for the shaft.

I personally prefer a 17 front since most of my riding is on the street, but I understand the 17's do not readily fit the Hawks. Someone would confirm or correct me down in the 'dual-sport' section. If I could only go to a 16, I would probably want a 39. I understand the Hawks take the easy to swap 1980 Honda XL185 rear sprockets. Are the Bashans the same, Azhule, as far as what aftermarket sprockets you find?
