A Burger

It's not too often these days that I treat myself to one of these delectable sandwiches but Saturday, I got on the RX3 and headed down the hill to our little Volcano General Store. I'm not sure of the exact history of the place but I think in its original version, (probably prior to many burn-downs), was built somewhere around the 1860's, like much of the town.

Long story short, the lady who runs the store makes a mean burger. Local beef, done just the way a burger should be done, grilled inside a rock oven built from local rock that you can see standing just on the other side of her. Yum...

Hungry now?

No Miller Lite there....and it's icy cold. You just grab them out of the cooler when you want one and bring the caps to the register. Honor system. Kinda neat that way.

The only thing that would make that pic better for me would be a local IPA.

It's truly an awesome thing ! It can be adjusted more precise than your electric stove ,it can sear at 800 and smoke right down at near zero degrees ,my son likes to cook good food and he made me get it for him last fall .
