Well, it seems 2LZ really is getting old....old enough to be a grandpa in about 3 weeks. Here we are comparing bellies.... I'm still bigger. Dammit! Need to fix that.........

Congratulations!

I predict she will be in her skinny jeans before you, although with a dedicated effort it would be a close race!

Yah...truth be told, it's all the health crap I had last year. Still on Pred at the moment but weaning off. That stuff is a wonder drug but will bloat you up like Jaba the Hut. I can't wait to have a good ol' fashioned beer belly again! ;-)

Prednisone is a low grade miracle and one of the most useful and important medications in the arsenal. With that said long term use sure has some 'bite you in the ass' tendencies and weight gain is one of them.

Forget Jaba.

Princess Leah looks like she was the one on prednisone.

Congrats.

You'll soon find out that there is some truth to the old saw, "Have your grandchildren first." Also, in that you can send them back home after spoiling them.

2LZ.. hope things work out with that med taking. That's strong stuff. I was a Sick kid with kidney problems and at one time had to take up to 90mg per day of prednisone at the worst. I always say I am a walking Medical miracle . It's quite a steroid so you could take advantage and pump some iron and be like Arnold, haha (please don't listen to me and my stupid ideas).

Arrival

Not to try to upstage cheesy but I guess approximately 9 months ago, there was something in the water..... ;-)

Got my first grand kid. I don't come by this too naturally. I'm much better with wrenches. Need some polishing up I 'spose. Feel like I'm gonna break the little thing.

Rhiannon Jade arrived on 8/12. All went well and healthy....and I'm proud to say that the dad was off at work supporting the whole circus, as he should be. Can't ask for much more than that!

You've had prior experience, it just takes time to get the moves back. The first one is always special, too.
