Update Time!

Ok, you have had possession of your Hellcat 125 for two days! We need some updates!

Start with the easy stuff. Who did you buy it from? Give us a time frame. When did you order it, receive it and get the paperwork? Why did you choose the Hellcat? There are so many Grom clones, what made you decide on the Hellcat? Did you have any problems with assembly?

Have a great day!

Okay so here’s a update on the hellcat!

Quality- I didn’t think it was going to be this good well in my opinion. I think it’s great considering it’s chinnese made and not a Honda. Also people have said there’s a lot of bolts loose but when I checked all bolts they where all tight except one witch was the handle bar stem only 1 of them was loose. Idk if they heard complaints about this and double checked but they where all good!

Assembly- it was pretty easy had to put the handle bars and front tire and battery and other little stuff I can’t remember. Hardest part was putting the front wheel because I have no front stand so had to just pick it up wile my GF puts the wheel on lol was sore the next day.

Ordered- So I live in Los Angeles and the seller witch is Powersportmax is like 30 min form me so I picked it up from there wearhouse. Took about 1 week to process and pick up. As for paper work they did all the DMV work for me and will be mailing me the license plate and registration so I’m happy about how easy that was.

Why I chose the hellcat- So I went with the hellcat because I liked the body style more the the boom or the other clones looked more like the grom to me. Also wile doing my research read somewhere that taotao was a good brand and there quality is going up. Also is because I haven’t seen many people with the hellcat maybe 3 or 2 that I’ve come upon so I said I’ll give it a shot. And I’ve heard or the Vader issue with the battery draining and what not and the hellcat has no problems out the box as electrical issue or of that sort.

Ride- So my review on riding the hellcat. I’ll start with the pros as of right now and about 150 miles of riding I say mechanically nothing has giving me any problems everything is operating good and normal. She rides great I don’t know what else to say lol
Cons is that gear box was really stiff where my toes where hurting because of how far the shifter is or I just have a small foot lol. I changed the oil at 100 and gear box smoothed out I’m sure it will get better after more miles. Another one is the vibration idk about other riders but it bothers me but I’m getting use to it not so bad after a wile. And the seat is horrible my ass hurts after about 15 min.

So there’s my review sorry if I’m bad at this but I’ve never written a review in my life until now lol so give me a break ha. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Hey I'm from LA too! Been looking to get myself a Tao Hellcat and there's a scooter shop by downtown where they sell em. I think it's been a month since you made your last review. How's it riding now?
