register Templar in SC?

Has anyone tried to register a Templar 250 X in South Carolina? Would like to know if it's been done before I pull the trigger on the purchase.

PM GypsyR

He lives in SC and drives his Templar X there. I am sure he registered/plated it.

Yep. Took FOUR trips to the DMV. Key was that the manufacturer wasn't in their database. (I think) Make sure they gave you a statement of origin that says "motorcycle" and not "off-road motorcycle". The seller was kind enough to send me a replacement, my first one was off-road and they balked instantly at that.

And according to SC (now) it will go under "Zuma" as the manufacturer. Pretty I've cleared the path for you.
I documented my adventures (if you care) under someone else's thread- https://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=32316
