Anyone going to March Moto Maddness?

Anyone else going to be at March Moto Maddness in Tellico Plains TN this weekend? I'll be there with my green and red Hawks. I'll be on the green and a friend is going to borrow the red one. He has a KLR 650 but is wanting something smaller on the trails. He came by and sized up the Hawk and was very impressed. If you're there look us up. I'd love to see some fellow ChinaRiders there.

Got back yesterday from MMM and we had a blast. The Hawks generated a lot of questions especially after winning the barrel race twice. Everyone was amazed at the price and what they were. About 350 miles of single track and forest service roads over 3 day and she didn't miss a beat.

I did go on into TN to visit my sister and her family just north of Nashville. Had a 2007 Kawasaki Z1000 follow me home.

You should offer the top of the trophy award for pictures...

Here are a couple at the barrel races. I have a few more pics and a video but need to get them on my computer before I can upload them to share here. I'll get them but give me a day or two to catch up around the house.

Is that like a horse barrel race? Apparently not with all the flag tape

That would be cool if it was

No, there weren't any other Hawks or any China bikes that I saw.
The barrel race was just for fun and bragging rights. Only 2 barrels and we started 180° apart from each other and the first one to pass the other won.

So what you had to run against?

Raced against a Yamaha XT 225. Riding the forest service roads and single track I was riding with two Yamaha XT 225's, a KLR 650 and a couple Honda Africa Twins. The Hawk did just a good or better than the rest with everything we threw at it. My buddy with the KLR was the reason I took both Hawks. He wanted something smaller and lighter in the technical stuff. He loved the Hawk.
