Handlebars Hawk 250

Hello everyone!
So I took my hawk to the local track (Abbott Moto Park Lincoln, NE) and really put it to the test. I spilled a couple of time and among other various things bent my handlebars. I was searching to find the size of handlebar size of the hawk and couldn't come up with it. So my questions are:

What size of handlebars should I use for a replacement?

Is there any aftermarket controls that you would recommend that would handle some abuse?

I would recommend Pro-Taper SE (7/8") bars... light, inexpensive, and can take a beating

MSR handlebars

I was looking at the Malcom Smith Racing (MSR) handlebars. They have several different styles and if you look under "Technical Details", it will show you the dimensions. Let us know which ones you go with. And as always, pictures please!

Pro Taper is good. Renthal bars are good. If you are on a budget, EMGO bars are ok, but just some basic steel bars, but probably close to the same quality as the ones that came on the bike.

Greetings from Omaha!

Happy so far with Protaper Seven Eight bars on our Hawks. OE bars had a weird downward bend that felt strange, Protapers feel more natural. Direct bolt up, should not need anything but patience in moving everything over.
