Dude, check your mirrors, I had mine mounted like that b4 I was told they were wrong. The owners manual even showed them mounted that way. You can even see better with them mounted horizontal.

I think I swapped sides and turned them outward.

I've seen lots of pics on the web with the 'rabbit ear' mirror look. So THAT's why guys don't read the instructions....hehehe....because they're wrong in this case!
