strange chinese engine

http://leiling.en.alibaba.com/produc...le_Engine.html I had to post this , i have never seen a half aircooled and half watercooled engine and even stranger , has a front mount starter a suzuki S on it ,but a lifan style pushrod head 8O

Crazy.

The text says air cooled in one spot and water cooled in another. In this case both may be correct but not accurate. :?

The new BMW boxers are A/C-L/C hybrids, but the heads are L/C as that's where the heat is. :idea:

Rotax aviation engines are the same. L/C heads A/C cylinders.

The Chinese 'engineers' puzzle me. I shy away from products engineered by the Chinese and prefer accurate clones. They are better copiers than innovators in this arena. :wink:

X2. I only trust the Chinese to make a faithful copy of a Japanese engine. I become skeptical whenever the Chinese start to innovate, especially with hybrid engines! 8O
