Thumbs Up Husky 8 gallon Air Compressor - $74!

Just saw this on another site, great deal for someone needing a small-ish air compressor. It's on sale for $79 from $129, which is a great deal by itself, but supposedly if you use the coupon code "HDHOLIDAY" you'll get it for $74! I didn't try the code yet myself though.

Just a heads-up for anyone looking.

I found an image with the handle in the correct position. However, when I visit the posted link, I don't see a price, and I see a message that the unit is out of stock.

I just made a telephone call to Home Depot. The air compressors are out of stock, and I can't order one.

I guess I will watch, and see if the item goes on sale sometime in the future.

Home Depot told me on the telephone that my local store didn't stock this air compressor, and I couldn't place an online order. Now, the website is telling me my local store might have the item in stock, but the price has returned to $129.00.

I'm going to call the local store on Thursday morning. If they have one of these compressors in stock, I am going to see if they will sell it to me for $79.00. I will post an update after I get their reply.

Handle

The handle & mount are actually designed to allow both mounting options.

When mounted on the wheel end, you push down to raise the other end, then can move it about that way, pushing or pulling like a cart. Handle over the foot end it moves more like a wheel barrow and can be a bit tougher negotiating steps, etc.

Thanks for posting that insight, Jay. I figured as much when I saw photos showing both configurations.
