hi all, greetings from texas

I've been riding On 2 wheels since I was a teenager (I'm 45 now) but I have no experience with the Chinese imports. Two days ago, after a lot of research and tempted by the low price I ordered the RPS hawk 250 from killermotorsports.com , it will be my first enduro and I intend to ride it on the street mostly but perhaps a little offloading occasionally. I understand the importance of maintenance and I'm pretty handy with a wrench, so I will be assembling it and hopefully keeping it going for years to come. I've been perusing this forum for a couple of days and learned a few things already and gotten some good ideas for mods as well, so I thought I would introduce myself. I will post pics as soon as it's delivered and assembled, as well as give my first impressions. With any luck it will be here by next weekend, so stay tuned and thanks for having me.

Well a little later than expected, but it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I can figure out how to post pics.

The motorcycle was shipped with 2 right side tank fairings so I can't install those yet.but aside from that it was all there and went together nicely. The process took me about 6 hours but that included checking all of the bolts and applying some loctite where necessary

Nice photos of the build. I use Picasa and use the export function to make them 640 size. This website displays them within the width of the text box at that resolution.

Depending if you have a MAC (I do) or a PC, there are many free utilities for resizing pictures and you dont need any arty knowledge to get them smaller, it's all automatic.
