11 HP Track Drive Snow Blower

I am having trouble with a new 11 HP track drive snow blower.

Can someone tell me how the low oil pressure sensor is supposed to work. When the engine is up to RPM the sensor (yellow wire) still measures open to ground. Also, is there any information on the module (has a yellow and black wire) that allows the ignition system to get voltage while there is no oil pressure? This module is intermittent, so to make the engine work reliably the module has to be bypassed (bypass button out).

The small engines I'm familiar with have a low oil sensor which is just a float switch. When oil gets low it grounds out the ignition. These engines are splash lubricated.

I don't know how the circuit works, but I am sure there is models of that engine that don't have that feature and you may be able to just eliminate it.

Is this a Chinese built snowblower? They may not be too friendly toward you at that forum if it is.

Honda clone style 11hp?

Just curious, if it's one of the Gio track models you could just email John, I'm sure he would send you any part you need to fix it. He treated me well on all my warranty issues.
