Hello from new jersey

Hello from NJ, I am 6 about 217.5 llbs need a bike dirt and road should be cheap and reliable. I am mechanical incllined so fixing should be ok. I was thinking about the Tao for 1000 or the red hawk. I need to watch the wifey with cost and Covid scaring us. Thanks in advance for your help. Looking at Craigslist just crazy prices. Ohh plus this will be my first bike and I am over 50. Cheers

Welcome to here! There is quite a following for the Tao TBR7, and lots of information. You will definitely benefit from watching Motocheez videos on youtube. He has several videos on the TBR7. Go to the Dual Sport section here as well. Numerous threads on the Tao.

Welcome My007. What exit in NJ? HAHA! My wife is from south Joisey, little place called Gibbstown. We transplanted to Oklahoma 30 years ago. I have a 2020 Tbr7 and love it. If you go that route as others have stated here, there is plenty of info if you need it.

Hey thanks 287 exit 9 , yep the dames are quite eyes stealers. Got slap a few times by wifey. I was looking at red hawk with EFI not sure what gains. Cause I like the fixing . More fun

Welcome! Based on your self-description, we could be brothers.

Hey I’m from NJ as well just getting into the China bike craze. Was looking into the Hawks but NJ won’t let you register it here. Found out Apollo db36 250cc is able to be registered in NJ. I’m trying to find a good seller now.

Darn this was my old login, had issues resetting password.
I am royally screwed also. I am not paying the bill. I cancel due to delay and they still force it down my throat.
