Why doesn't Lifan America import the "CUB-ADV" (LF125-26R) into the USA?
Seriously this thing would be a decent competitor to Honda's Trail 125 which go for like 5k-7k OTD from dealers.

I've wondered the exact same thing. There might be an agreement between Honda and China to not do this, i.e. not step on each other's toes. Or maybe the Chinese decided there would not be enough demand to warrant the cost of DOT and EPA certification. Too bad, because it would be great to have this bike as a lower-cost alternative to the Trail 125. IMO a 140cc EFI version would sell really well and undercut the Honda by a lot.

I was wondering the same thing, but the EPA certification, as TominMO mentioned, is probably it. Because of American Lifan's poor distribution network this would likely be a low volume seller. Too bad. I'd buy one in a second.
