Back to Dino ( conventional )oil after cam, and top end rebuild?

As most of you know, I'm doing some engine work, and replacing the cam,and followers ,and piston, and jug. I assume that I will need to run conventional oil for a break in period. Am I correct in this assumption? I don't have any on hand is the reason I ask, but have plenty of full synthetic.
Thanks

Yes, treat it like a new engine with the break in.

I respectfully disagree with Jerryhawk. Synthetic or non synthetic doesn't matter.
