Hey Spud.I know it probably doesn't matter.If you want the paint to be a bit more glossy,wet sand with 1500, and use an auto polish to bring out the shine.I've made some rattle can jobs look almost as good as pro spray jobs.
The best paint I have ever had, out of a rattle can, was Fred's store brand flat black.It stuck almost as good as powder coat.I didn't even prime before painting, and didn't use a satin, or flat clear coat.I did it 13 years ago,and it's just now starting to get thin spots showing up.I used it on my car mirrors and some trim pieces. |
